Will a house wash affect my paint? Most paints are non-reactant to the chemicals we use for a house wash. However, some organic-based paints can become bleached or damaged from our normal wash solution. We can test a patch of siding if you are unsure what kind of paint you have. If your paint reacts, we can wash with an alternative, organic-safe solution but there may be additional charges. Please notify us if you are concerned.

What payment options are available? We offer Cash, Check or Credit Card payments. The credit cards payments can be made through PayPal or Stripe on the payment link sent after services are complete.

Do I need to be home for service? No, as long as you aren't requesting inside window cleaning, we do not need anyone present at the time of service. We will notify you when we arrive at your property and send you before and after photos of our work as well as an online payment link. You can completely schedule service with no contact needed!

What can I do to prepare for my pressure washing services? We will move any of your items out of the way and replace them where we found them. However, some may prefer to move the items themselves. Items that would need to be moved include any furniture, potted plants, animal pens, personal items, outdoor cookware, etc. If the items cannot be moved easily, we will work around them and/or take extra precaution not to damage them while cleaning. Please notify us if you have anything that we need to take extra care around.

What is softwashing?Softwashing is applying a chemical solution to the exterior surfaces to clean the organic materials without applying high pressure, which can damage some surfaces. We do not apply high pressure to most surfaces that aren't brick or concrete to avoid damage. Our softwash system mixes a percentage of Sodium Hypochlorite (Bleach), surfactant (soap) and water to dilute the mix. This is applied to the surface to clean it and then rinsed away.

Why Are We More Expensive? At Dreadnought, we believe in providing the highest quality service, which requires a level of care and preparation that some other companies may not prioritize. For us, it's not just about getting the job done—it’s about doing it right and ensuring the safety of your property every step of the way. That means we take extra time to carefully protect your space. We bag and tape light fixtures, electrical outlets, meters, and ceiling fans, and ensure all areas are fully shielded before we start work. This may take more time, but it ensures that we’re protecting your property and delivering top-tier results without cutting corners. While other companies may offer faster, cheaper services, we believe in quality over speed. By focusing on the details and taking the necessary precautions, we give you peace of mind knowing your property is in safe hands. After all, our goal is to restore and maintain your property in the best way possible—without any added risks or headaches.

What does a House Wash include?A house wash covers all vertical exterior sides of the home (not including the roof or decks). We will softwash the siding, soffits, fascia, windows, and outside of gutters. This service does not include squeegee cleaning of windows, surface cleaning of patios, washing of the roof or decks or cleaning out/ brightening of the gutters. These would be a separate service charge to include. We do, however, offer package deals when you select multiple services at once. (i.e. cheaper prices on window cleaning when you book it along with a house wash).
